Metallic HBI Chips
We consistently ship bulk quantities of metallic iron chips which are generated during the manufacture and handling of HBI as well as other methods of direct reduction.
The chips are available in varying degrees of metallization depending on the intended application for the product and in some cases are "tailor blended" to meet specific criteria for specific customers.
These materials, being generated as secondary byproducts, offer an extremely cost-effective iron unit and offer the same metallurgical benefits in terms of residual contents and both physical and chemical consistency as the prime products from which they were originally generated.
